Position: Workover Rig Floorhand
Location: North Dakota
Responsibilities for the Workover Rig Floorhand:
- Perform service on oil wells as part of a 3-5 person crew of a workover rig
- Assisting in rigging up or down
- Picking up or laying down tubing
- Driving a crew truck when necessary
- Complete time sheets and work tickets accurately
- Perform physical labor which may require heavy lifting, stooping, standing, and other duties as needed
- Attend monthly safety meetings
- Other Duties may be assigned
Preferred Qualifications Experience and Skills for the Workover Rig Floorhand:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- 1-2 years of Floorhand experience
- Basic problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to perform duties in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to effectively communicate, both oral and written – Excellent customer service
- Basic oilfield well servicing experience
- Ability to bend, stoop and lift objects of up to 75 pounds for extended periods of time
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Shift: Day shifts typically with irregular shifts as work demands
Licenses and Certifications:
- Class D or Class B CDL with a clean MVR
- Class A CDL with a clean MVR to drive rig
- OSHA 10 hr certification
Reports to: Workover Rig Operator/Relief Operator
