Position: Hot Oil Truck Driver
Location: North Dakota
Responsibilities for the Hot Oil Truck Driver:
- Operating high pressure pump and burner for heating and pumping fluids
- Observing equipment and gauges
- Carrying hoses and joints of pipe from truck to well head or tank
- Connecting and disconnecting hoses and pipe using hand tools
- Following safe operating procedures
- Inspecting equipment properly on a daily basis
- Performing Pre and Post trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations
- Properly completing paperwork and logs
- Maintaining a safe and clean driving record
- Attending monthly safety meetings
- Following all guidelines and policies set by Basin Service and our customers
- Complying with all DOT regulations
- Other Duties may be assigned
Required Experience and Skills for the Hot Oil Truck Driver:
- Previous experience is required
- Must have the ability to operate a Hot Oil unit
- Follow safe operating procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with company employees and customers
- Ability to chain up truck when on the job
- Must have knowledge of and be compliant with all DOT regulations
- Knowledge of principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment related to work activities
- Ability to operate in adverse weather conditions, including off road
- Basic problem-solving, organizational and decision making skills
Licenses and Certifications:
- Class A CDL with a clean MVR
- OSHA 10 hr certification
