Our Beginnings

Two Companies.

Basin Service is made up of a merger of two long-standing oilfield service companies: Basin Service and Ward Williston Company.

Basin was started in the early 1960s by Don Ballantyne. Ward Williston (W-W) was established in the 1950s and was nearly the first company in ND to complete an oil well in the state.
